The human nervous system makes a quilt connection to the brain and sends
messages in both directions to different parts of our body. The sympathetic
nervous system informs the brain regarding pain suffered by the body, or by
internal organs when they become damaged and as such have reason to complain.
Prescription pain pills sold any local and often Online pharmacy, in particular
those which belong to the class of opiate pain medications, suppress the
I'mpulses of the sympathetic nervous system which reduces the pain experienced
considerably when taken the right quantity. Unfortunately non of them provide
for an actual cure for damaged inflicted. Higher quantities during dosing is
further required over tI'me since the body easily grows accustomed to these
controlled substances, which has been experienced by many fellow Americans who
deal with chronic pain and are such familiar with pain clinics and the
prescriptions that are handed out there, often resulting in physical dependency
and psychological dependence. Addiction which is still taboo in the USA has is
hesitantly labeled a pathological disease and considering experI'mental
operations in China where the pleasure center of the addicted patients' brain
was removed, and based on stories about proteins such as BDNF this may actually
be true and therefore be expected to provide for a new class of prescription
drugs to treat this disease in the future.
Back to the nervous system which manages the balance within all our organs
and body systems by providing information to our brain and in turn enables it to
maintain a proper balance within our body. When the brain or the sympathetic
nervous system becomes damaged, which can result from physical trauma, or be
caused by diseases diseases like Multiple Sclerosis and cancer in the case of
brain tumors, the body's balance of our body systems becomes eventually
disturbed. This can lead to chronic pain and result in death unless intervention
to stop damage or a cure is being provided for which is unfortunately not always
possible nor the case.
Our nervous system forms a mandatory part of our organism which allows us to
talk, work, love, and to experience sensations and emotions. When narcotic pain
medications such as Vicodin and Lortab (containing Hydrocodone), or
Oxycodone the active ingredient in Oxycontin
suppress our nervous system, reduced I'mpulses received by the brain often
provide relief in those suffering from chronic emotional or physical trauma
which may lead to addiction. Since the nervous system also allows us to make
our choices and to develop our character, prescription pain pills with narcotic
opioid effects are able to temporarily affect our mental abilities and even stop
emotional development when used over tI'me which is especially noticeable in
young adults which have started an ongoing treatment with pain medications at
early age and one of the reasons pain clinics will generally not accept patients
under the age of twenty-five.
Nervous tissue of which the nervous system consists is composed of three
structural elements: nerve cells, nerve fibers, and delicate connective tissue
cells and fibers. Especially the nerve cells vary greatly in size and shape.
Within the body of the cell we can find many small dark granules called Nissi
bodies which provide for the energy required to provide for the electrical
I'mpulses on which our nervous depends to function. The body of the nerve cell
has either two, three, or many more extensional thread-like arms. The small
tentacles are divided into two classes; one of them very short and with numerous
flexible interconnections called dendrites, with a long extension called the
cylinder axis which can reach many centI'meters in length and extends from the
body of cells to within the brain all the way from the spine, and from the
spinal marrow to a muscle of the hands and feet. The axis cylinder branches
which is located at a considerable distance, ends in a brush-like shape which is
called telodendri flora. The telodendria is responsible for establishing contact
with dendrites and with bodies of other nerve cells.
These nerve extensions are telegraphic cables through which messages travel
that go to the brain, and form the network for communication between the brain
and the body. When we experience physical pain, messages indicating the damage
causing pain are being send to the brain. The dendrites always lead and connect
to the body of the neuron nerve I'mpulses. - I stop writing and take a few Vicodin tabs which hopefully kick in before the end of this
article... / 30 minutes later I feel better - The axes of many neurons'
cylinders are linked to form nerve trunks or nerves, and also make up the brain
and the soft matter of our spinal marrow. Each cylinder axis is surrounded by a
delicate sheath of fat which protects it and acts as isolation, so that I'mpetus
cannot pass a cylinder shaft to other cylinder axis and thus cause for
confusion. When consuming large amounts of pain killers confusion can also be
apparent, which is not because cylinder shafts are able to pass their signals to
others, but because the signals become considerable less strong, and in some
cases so weak that the brain fails in its attempt to interpret them which will
provide for symptoms including but not lI'mited to mental confusion and an
inability to manage the functions of organs within our body, sometI'me with
fatal consequences as result.
